The Halifax Hurricanes Ringette Association is excited to offer a brand new opportunity for youth interested in learning how to play Ringette!
Intro 2 Ringette is a safe, fun, low-cost, 4-session program that will introduce players ages 4-12 years old to the sport of ringette - also known as the fastest game on ice!
Intro 2 Ringette is a safe, fun, low-cost, 4-session program that will introduce players ages 4-12 years old to the sport of ringette - also known as the fastest game on ice!
Each session is 50 minutes in length and is led by certified instructors who are trained to break down and teach skills to brand new players. Not only are we going to teach your child how to skate and play this amazing sport, we are also going to introduce them to a world that:
- Builds confidence
- Supports creativity
- creates friendships that last a lifetime!
Intro 2 Ringette has been designed to introduce participants to the sport in a safe, no-contact manner that requires minimal equipment. Participants require only the following:
- Helmet with face mask
- Gloves or heavy mittens
- Skates
- Warm clothes (snow pants are also recommended to help keep them dry!)
Of course, participants are always welcome to wear additional equipment if they have it!
