2023 Grace Mackenzie Goalie Camp
***WAITLIST ONLY***
The Halifax Hurricanes Ringette Association is excited to announce that registration for the 2023 Grace MacKenzie Goalie Camp has opened!
RNS goalies from all associations and all skill levels (U10-U19) are invited to join Team Canada Ringette goalie Grace MacKenzie for a 10-session program focused solely on developing goalie skills!
Each week, participants will focus on a specific skill and continue to build off of those foundational skills in following weeks. Emphasis is placed on goalie-specific power skating and edge work at the beginning of each session, followed by activities focused on the development of positioning, lateral movements in the crease, rebound control, goalie ring distributions with glove and stick, and more. Goalies will be grouped together and drills may be adjusted based on like age and skill level. Goalie games will be used to keep things fun!
Grace will be joined by Nova Scotia AA goalies Charlotte Macdonald and Zoe Murphy.
All sessions will occur on the following Thursdays 7pm @ HRM 4Pad (BMO):
May 25
Jun 1, 8, 15, 22
Aug 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Cost to register: $250.
