A bursary is a type of scholarship with the main purpose
of providing financial support for students
who aren’t able to cover the cost of their education
even with the help of their parents.
A student bursary helps by giving students money to pay for their education.
Each year, Halifax Hurricanes Ringette Association awards several players who are continuing their secondary education with a "Give it Back Bursary".
This bursary is dedicated to those players who have committed to the sport of ringette through active involvement of giving back and participation of at least the past three years.
We are now accepting applications for our 2023 Give It Back Bursary.
