What is the time commitment to be a ringette coach?
Whether coaching recreational or competitive teams, most coaches will host one or two 1-hour practices per week and attend one game (either home or away); of note, U9 teams do not play games. Most teams (U10 and above) will also attend between two and four ringette tournaments hosted within the Halifax region or in other communities across the Maritimes each season. Additional time is often taken to plan for practices, however all coaches have the support of team managers who take on many of the administrative tasks including regular correspondence with their players’ parents/guardians.
What experience/qualifications do I need to be a ringette coach?
