Support Leah Mombourquette on her journey to the World Ringette Championships!

Leah Mombourquette, a member of our Halifax Hurricanes family, has been selected to represent Canada as a member of Team Canada U18 Black at the upcoming World Ringette Championships (WRCs) taking place in Calgary from October 26 to November 5, 2023!

Being able to wear a Team Canada jersey has been a dream of Leah's since she began playing ringette. However, recognizing this dream comes with a financial cost. The cost for each athlete to participate in the August development camp and then the WRCs is $5000.

Ringette Canada has come up with the 'Adopt a Maple Leaf' program as a means for National Team athletes to give back to grassroots associations and for the associations to in turn, financially support National Team athletes. Our association is proud to be supporting Leah through this program.
